The partnership will further enhance L’ANZA’s marketing, sales and educational efforts with the distributors, salons and consumers in the beauty industry.
The Bonds will be the creative force behind L’ANZA cutting, coloring & styling education methodologies, techniques, and seasonal collections bringing L’ANZA Healing Haircare to the next level. Their extensive professional and editorial work will advance L’ANZA’s Healing Haircare campaign with top consumer and trade publications, to build the L’ANZA image and name through editorial submissions, shows and events.
Oscar Bond began his coveted career as an industry educator at the esteemed Vidal Sassoon Academy in London where he was a member of the International Artistic and Show Team for Sassoon. In 1994, he joined the Aveda Artistic Style Council and was appointed as Head of Education for the Aveda Institute. With Aveda, Oscar was responsible for implementing a haircutting system on many levels throughout the Aveda network, as well as delivering the latest trends through advanced haircutting classes, national level shows and photographic sessions. Nominated Hairdresser of the Year by Japan’s Shinbiyo magazine, Oscar’s mastery of the craft and gift for teaching has taken him all over the world for the past 30 years.
Wendy is both an educator and world renowned colorist who was a finalist for Hair Colorist of the Year in the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) several years running. She is among the elite 600 exclusive Board Certified Colorists worldwide, and is known as one of the top colorists in the industry.
The Bonds are also owners of the Oscar Bond Salon Spa in SoHo, New York. Oscar and Wendy are known as one of the foremost style teams, with well over 35 years of professional and editorial experience. Oscar and Wendy Bond’s crafts have graced print and television mediums such as Vogue, In Style, Mademoiselle, Marie Clare, Self, GQ, Details, SoHo Style, to name a few. Furthermore, Oscar was highlighted on ABC’s The View, MTV’s Making the Band, E!’s Fashion Emergency, and additionally the Oscar Bond Salon was featured on Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
