Santa Monica, CA—DAVEXLABS recently donated pallets upon pallets of L'ANZA Healing Haircare products to the Salvation Army for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita.

Davexlabs, in partnership with the Salvation Army and the County of Los Angeles give the “old” 120,000 square-foot Salvation Army Bell Facility a make-over to prepare for the temporary housing of individuals and families affected by Hurricane Katrina and the more recent Hurricane Rita.

Glad to lend a helping hand, President & CEO of DAVEXLABS, David Berglass was more than happy to collaborate with the Salvation Army’s efforts.  “We sympathize with all of the residents of the Gulf Coast affected by the recent hurricanes and are pleased to help with the donation of our L’ANZA products.”

Almost 11,000 pieces of shampoos, conditioners and styling products, worth more than $100,000 were loaded on the Salvation Army Truck by the DAVEXLABS warehouse team.  The Salvation Army expects more than 100 refugee families from Louisiana to arrive at their Bell Shelter in Bell, California.
