STARS SHINE BRIGHT IN TEXAS:

An Evening with Oscar Bond Hair Show

Santa Monica, CA—On August 20, 2006, L’ANZA, in collaboration with Princess Professional Salon Supply, hosted an exclusive hair show, “Stars Shine Bright in Texas: An Evening with Oscar Bond,” at the Sunset Station, an old train station renovated to host concerts and events located in downtown, San Antonio, Texas.

The beautiful facility, adorned with stained glass ceiling and windows along with rich wood stairwells held over 275 hairstylists. ?Music, lights and 15 fabulous models filled the stage for a magical evening.?The models showcased vibrant hair colors, designed cleverly by the L’ANZA Educators, Regina King, Rudy Tamez, Kelly Kindrick and Kari Kellman using exclusively L’ANZA Belavance Color.?According to Oscar Bond, L’ANZA Creative Director, “Our Educators were truly the stars that night.?Their hard work and creativity made the evening quite a spectacle for the aw-inspired crowd.”

Color wasn’t the only exciting highlight at the show—the newest haircutting trends demonstrated by Bond created bursts of excitement for salon owners, stylists and the Princess staff as well. In addition, the Texans got a hands-on introduction to the new L’ANZA Art Elements Polyester and Taffy styling products.?They sniffed and played with the products on their own hair, experiencing the versatility of these innovative styling products first hand.

The two-hour entertaining and educational event was followed by a cocktail party and an opportunity for stylists to meet Oscar and the L’ANZA Educators. Each attendee received L’ANZA gift bags filled with L’ANZA products and logo-wear, worth over $75.00.
