L’ANZA Bends the Rules of Color and Texture
Introducing the ARQ Trend Collection for 2008

The new collection consists of three cut/color techniques inspired by the rounded shapes on the fall runways. The circular shape of the hair is set in contrast to the linear and rectangular shapes of this season’s clothing fashions. Guardienne is a versatile, short cut. This style can be worn sassy, exaggerated, or slicked to an elegant, striking coif. Curved lines add softness to this gamine look. Color dances within the texture and changes across the rounded silhouette. The Mosaic color technique places alternating tiles of color, emphasizing texture within the short hair style. Shades of color will overlap creating subtle and intense color splashes.
Angel updates today’s long hair. Starting with a round shape, Angel is complemented with an arcing fringe, blending seamlessly into diffused, textured ends. Bold ribbons of color wind through the tresses emphasizing texture. The Ribbon color technique places splashes of color throughout the hair.
