Positive, self-motivated professionals who share skills, knowledge and passion with other professionals. Educators assist DAVEXLABS Distributors, beauty schools and other professionals in successful business building through supporting sales consultants, product, and technique demonstrations, trade shows, special events, and workshops. Commitment and consistent communication, networking and meeting new people are essential.
Position Summary
Educators are used on a contractual basis through the Distributor. Certified educators have the ability to train the Distributor’s clients in hair care and hair services, to include product knowledge, hair styling, hair color and hair perming. Educators will communicate and schedule through the Distributor and/or DAVEXLABS Business Development Manager, BDM, and Education Department Administrator.

- Assist BDM in Distributor’s sales meetings, detailing and new hire trainings
Requirements
- Licensed cosmetologist with a minimum of 3 years work experience.
- Works in a salon that uses L’ANZA products at least a minimum of 10 days per month.
- Able to commit at least 4-6 days a month to L’ANZA education.
- Attends and completes all DAVEXLABS required trainings to be L’ANZA certified.
- Attends and completes all DAVEXLABS required updates to maintain L’ANZA certification.
- Able to present in small and large group settings.
- Is a team player and committed to lifelong learning.
- Ability to take direction and commit to teaching according to the L’ANZA culture and guidelines.
- Educates exclusively for DAVEXLABS brand products.
- Regular access to a computer and internet.
Expectations
- Represents the DAVEXLABS image, ethics and program formats as instructed.
- Communicates with Distributors and DAVEXLABS.
- Enjoys sharing information with others.
- Updates the Distributor and DAVEXLABS of all home and salon address changes.
- Conducts scheduled training classes.
- Assists Distributor/Business Development Manager in booking and rebooking classes.
- Prior to teaching a class, acquires pertinent information about the salon from the Distributor, Sales Consultant and/or BDM.
- Confirms class topic, time and dates with the Distributor, BDM, Sales consultant and salon.
- Is on time (minimum 30 minutes prior to class/event) and prepared to conduct class.
- Supports the salon’s existing product sales and helps create new product sales.
- Is willing to take product orders, and understand that sales are a vital part of your position. (Check Distributor’s policy)
- Informs the salon of additional educational opportunities.
- Follow up each class with a call or a thank you card to the salon.
